Stranger's act of kindness towards new mom with crying baby on a plane goes viral

When Rebekka Garvison boarded her flight with a newborn baby from Chicago to Atlanta last week, her fear of being judged became a reality.
Garvison noted how quiet the flight was when she got on. She took her seat next to a couple who did not look happy that her baby Rylee would be sitting with them. Already stressed out from traveling, Rylee started crying immediately.

Rebekka Garvison
To avoid any issues, she moved two rows ahead where there were two empty seats instead of one. This way, Garvison would have more room to tend to her baby.
As Rylee continued to cry despite her mother's efforts to calm her, the woman in the seat next to her, Nyfesha Miller, asked if she could try calming the baby.

As soon as Miller held Rylee in her arms, the little one stopped crying. By the time the flight took off, she was sound asleep in the stranger's arms. Miller even carried her off the flight so Gavin could get all of her belongings together. Miller said "it wasn't a problem."

Gavin was so thankful to Miller that she shared her appreciation in a Facebook status. The grateful mother openly told Miller that she will "never understand how happy this act of kindness has made my family. You could have just rolled your eyes and been irritated like everyone else, but you took her and held her the entire flight and let me get some rest and peace of mind."

Erectile Dysfunction

Story told from Men's Clinic
Ade and Busola have been married for years, they recently had a baby boy and have never been happier, for their marriage anniversary they decided to travel to a resort for a week, so they could enjoy themselves alone. The first day at the resort Busola and her husband went straight to their bed room to have sex, but this was cut short because Ade could not get it up and hard when it was time.
Ade said it was probably because he was tired from the trip, that after a rest he would be ready. They tried again but Ade could only go one round which made Busola really upset and dissatisfied. The same thing happened every time they tried to have sex tillthe day they left.

When she got backhome Busola went to a sex shop toget a device to pleasure her.One day after a dissatisfying one round session of sex,Busola went straight to the bathroom to pleasure herself like she has been doing, while she was in the bathroom Ade walked in and saw her, she explained what she has been going through and after a long talk they both agreed to go and see a doctor concerning his problem.

Rapper Azealia Banks compares LGBT community to 'gay white KKK' after her plane incident

Azealia Banks has compared the LGBT community to the 'gay white KKK.'
The outspoken rapper, 24, was criticized for screaming at an airline attendant and calling him a 'f*****g f****t' during an altercation on a Delta flight on September 22.

Banks, who identifies as bisexual, lashed out at the gay community for focusing on her language rather than the man's actions, calling the LGBT community 'weaklings' who need to toughen up.

Azealia had a meltdown on a Delta flight on September 22, after a French passenger blocked her as she tried to squeeze down the aisle and make a quick exit.
The rapper says the man hit her in the face, but witnesses told TMZ he put his hand in Banks' face to stop her as she pushed past.
A video of the incident shows the musician screaming the slur at the flight attendant after he tried to take her luggage. She later quickly exited the plane after being told police had been called.

President Buhari appoints self as Petroleum Minister

President Buhari while addressing some select reporters in New York on Tuesday, after addressing a Global Leaders’ Summit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism, he will remain the Minister of Petroleum.
He said the step is being taken as part of efforts to sanitise Nigeria’s oil industry which is said to be plagued by corruption, massive fraud, and crude oil theft.

He said:
“I will remain Minister of Petroleum.
“I will appoint a minister of State for Petroleum”.

Buhari restated his determination to sanitise Nigeria’s oil industry and free it from corruption and create more transparency.
He said that his first step in sanitizing the petroleum sector has already begun with the appointment of a new management for the NNPC and said that the prosecution of those who misappropriated NNPC’s funds is already in the works.

Buhari, who took office at the end of May promising to fight corruption, has made it clear he wants to overhaul the oil sector in Africa’s biggest economy, which provides the government with about 70% of its revenue.

Karrueche Tran says nightclub racism is unfortunate but ignores calls for boycott

Karrueche Tran has responded to allegations of a racist door policy at celebrity haunt in London, DSTRKT, stating that it was “unfortunate” ahead of her club night.

The model and aspiring actress was billed to host her own club night in the city on Tuesday night, and spoke with BBC Newsbeat on Tuesday about the serious allegations levelled against the club.
"It's unfortunate to hear about something like that especially something that I'm part of,” she said.
“I'm half African-American too. I have godsisters and family who have darker skin as well. I don't support any sort of discrimination. I love people for who they are."
DSTRKT has been described as being racist and too discriminatory.

The posh celeb haunt found itself at the centre of the racism brouhaha after allegedly refusing entry to girls deemed 'too dark' and too fat.

On Saturday, 4 women headed for a night out and arrived shortly after 10pm  at the club, the girls claim they were told they couldn't go in because the club was full. However, they noticed that other girls were allowed into the club.

The women say they were told they were declined entry because one of the girls was “too dark” and another was “overweight”.

One of the girls in the group said:
"Manager of DSTRKT stated I and my thinner friend fine but other two girls are too fat and if they are black women or dark skinned they need to be very hot to gain entry."

Despite calls for Karrueche to boycott the night, the beauty did not say that she would cancel her night.

Porsche responds to wrongful death lawsuit filed by Paul Walker's daughter Meadow

Porsche has responded to Meadow Walker's wrongful death lawsuit, which claimed her father’s tragic death was due to design flaws with the car he was in.
Lawyers for 16 year old Meadow Walker, claim her Dad survived the impact of the crash but suffered horrifically when he was helplessly trapped inside the 2005 Carrera GT when it burst into flames.

According to the lawsuit, when the car crashed and broke apart the seat belt “snapped Walker’s torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis."
The suit claims the actor was trapped inside the car and was still alive when the fire broke out 1 minute and 20 seconds after it hit the tree.
"Paul Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned,” it alleges.
"The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street. And we shouldn't be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas," the teen's lawyer
Responding to the claims on Tuesday, Porsche said in a statement:
"As we have said before, we are very sad whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities' reports in this case clearly establish that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed."
Law enforcement officials said at the time the car was going 80 to 93 MPH.

LL Cool J's oldest son arrested for criminal trespassing

26 year old Najee Smith, the son of rapper-actor LL Cool J, was arrested early Tuesday following a fight in a Manhattan restaurant according to several reports.
Smith refused to leave the restaurant Catch in New York's Meatpacking District and started fighting with security guards who then called police.
Investigators believe Smith was intoxicated, the officials said.

Najee Smith is facing criminal trespass charges in connection with a 3:15 a.m. altercation inside the Catch Rooftop on Ninth Ave. near W. 13th St., officials said.
Najee had just celebrated his birthday Monday and was apparently intoxicated when he caused a disturbance inside the club, police sources said.

When a club employee asked him to leave, he refused, and fought off bouncers as they took him to the ground level and called police, officials said.
Smith is the eldest child of L.L. Cool J who has four kids with wife Simone Smith.

Najee graduated from college in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts.

Military action alone can’t defeat war on terror- Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement delivered on Tuesday at the Global Leaders’ Summit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism organised by President Barack Obama on the sideline of the 70th United Nations General Assembly in New York said military action alone would never be enough to end terrorism and extremism around the globe.
He said good governance, transparency, accountability and rule of law, are some of the best ways to start the process of ridding the world of terrorism.
He said while Nigeria acknowledges the efforts by the UN and the international community to tackle ISIS, a lot more needs to be done.
He said:
“Nigeria notes with satisfaction the efforts of the United Nations and the rest of the international community to contain ISIL. We certainly need to do more.
“We need to take military action combined with effective border security, intelligence collection and sharing, and vigorous policing action.
“These alone may not suffice, but they can certainly stem the tide and reverse the process of recruitment, movement and effective operation of foreign terrorist fighters and their associated radical extremists.
“In order to put in place the critical components of an effective approach to countering ISIL and eventually defeating it, we must address the threat from the source.
“We must find a way to prevent young people from turning to terror in the first place. And the young people that turn to violent extremism do not exist in a vacuum – they are often part of communities and families and are lured into the fold of barbaric and nihilistic organisations, somehow, through a misguided appeal to their worst fears, expectations and apparent frustrations.
“While addressing the causes of this attraction and how to deal with them, we should pay close attention to other manifest factors that may not be tangible but can be crucial.
“Good governance, which entails transparency, accountability and the rule of law, remains the basis on which we should kick-start the process of ridding the world of the menace of terrorism and violent extremism.
“The international community will be required to work together to deter and disrupt illicit financial flows from nations with weak anti-theft structures to other parts of the world.”

But Really, Who is a Successful Woman?#TheWAwards

Who is a successful woman? While we have our own individual definitions of what success is or is not, society tries to push at us what success is, especially when it pertains to the feminine gender. For example, in several places in Africa, it is not uncommon to say that a woman that has achieved a lot in her business and career and winds up being unmarried at 50, is an unsuccessful woman.

Is this the truth? Well, success is a relative variable and can only be measured with the goal-setter’s scales.
Here’s what the first Female Helicopter Captain in Nigeria, a doctor that tends open-heart surgery patients, and other spectacular women think.

When you’re done, look around you again, you will find numerous women who qualify as successful. Whoever and wherever she is, as long as she is inspiring a lot of people, she deserves to be recognized and celebrated. And you can make that happen by nominating her for a W Award. All you need to do is go to www.thewawards.com, pick a category, nominate her, then ask your family members, neighbors, friends and enemies to nominate her too.

It’s not just to say she is your WCW, The W initiative powered by Access Bank is asking you to put your words into action! Nominate that woman who inspires you.
