Mnet has reviewed plans for a continental version of the hit reality tv show called survivor Africa. the first ever Pan Africa edition of the show will freature12 contestants from Africa to compete for for a grand price of $100,000.00, in order to win the cash, the 12 participants will have to endure challenges which invloves spending 21 days in a isolation on a desert island and they will also face ellimination which will determine the last man standing.
Survivor Africa will be filmed on location in panama and the programme is scheduled for july. The entry criteria are. Being able to speak good english, must be over 21 and hold a valid Africa passport, others entrants must have been born in sub sahara Africa and a resident in sub sahara Africa, the only Africa country excluded is South Africa because they can only apply for survivor South Africa only.
Participants that are intrested should collect their form from multi choice office or agents arround them. The form should be completed and submitted to the same office.

BIG BROTHER AFRICA COMES TO NIGERIA.
Now m-net, the pay TV channel that broadcast big brother Africa has answered the question and is coming up with a reality TV drama, which promises excitement and entertainment. The plan is to screen a new version of big brother, this time film on location in Nigeria with a Nigerian cast and crew. It is dubbed big brother Nigeria, and the show is to be produced by a Nigerian production team and is scheduled to run for 91 days, starting this march 2006.
Big brother Nigeria will see 12 Nigerian contestants sharing on home while 68 microphones and 27 cameras capture their lives for a continental television audience. At the end of the competition after multiple rounds of public voting and contestant elimination, one winner will walk away with a prize of $100,000. Launch in 1999, the big brother phenomenon has storm the world and the end of 2005 would have produced exactly 100 big brother series produced across the globe. Dramatic and controversial in every edition that has been created, the big brother experience has redefined standards for media environments, with records high in television, Internet and other media.
In the USA, 10.9 million viewers tuned in for the debut show of big brother 4; In Spain, 10.7 million viewers watched it’s finale and in Italy season 4 (grand fratello 4) had a peak audience of over 11 million. In Germany big brother 4 launched to over 3 million viewers, in Australia it peaked at 3.1 million viewers and in the UK, big brother 6 Launched with an audience of seven million. AFRICAN MOVIE ACADEMY AWARDS
History was made at the Second annual AMAA Awards Ceremony which took place at Bayelsa state in Yenogoa, With notable dignitaries in attendance, They include the Governor of Bayelsa state, Dr Good Luck Jonathan, Mr. Ben Bruce, the minister for information and national orientation, Mr. Frank Nweke jnr.
African American Hollywood super star actress, Vivica A Fox, and Liugasi the kunta kinte star in the movieROOTS, a film based on slave trade.
Musical artiste, the Mamuzee Twins, performed at the events, bringing upstage 3 of Nigerians notable actors, namely Chinedu Ikedieze, and Osita Iheme, popularly known as aki and paw paw, along side desmond Elliot to dance with them to the trill of all in attendance.
Multitalented actor, singer, voiceover artiste and master compere, Segun Arinze also performed one of his new singles in his forth coming album, due to be released very soon on OJEZ record label.
Ace comedian, Gandoki, klint the drunk, talkative and pepper rest trilled the audience the their rib cracking jokes.
Dare art Alade also performed at the event and to crown it all was mama Africa, Miriam Makeeba herself, who perform to the delight of all in attendance. And rounding up the show was Aladdin, also a brilliant performance.
